Datavolt secured an investment agreement with NEOM to develop the Datavolt AI Data Center – Oxagon, a state-of-the-art 1.5GW AI-powered facility. The agreement includes an initial investment of USD 5 billion for Datavolt AI Data Center – Phase 1 – Oxagon, which will establish the core infrastructure necessary for scalable and efficient operations. NEOM will support the development by providing land through a lease agreement and essential infrastructure. The facility is expected to be operational by 2028, setting a new benchmark in AI-driven data capabilities.

Strategically positioned in Oxagon, NEOM’s industrial hub, the Datavolt AI Data Center – Oxagon will benefit from connectivity to undersea data cables, ensuring fast and reliable global data transmission. The location provides access to cost-competitive renewable energy and green hydrogen, making it an optimal site for AI-driven operations. The advanced infrastructure will support high-performance computing while maintaining energy efficiency, ensuring seamless scalability for future expansion.

Designed as the world’s first sustainable net-zero AI data center, the development will integrate cutting-edge energy-efficient technologies.
