P & T Architects & Engineers Ltd. (Dubai) has been appointed as the design consultant for two significant stadium developments in Dubai.
The first involves the construction of Al Wasl Club Stadium in Al Jaddaf. Designed to seat over 20,000 spectators, the stadium introduces the concept of a ‘city within a city,’ reflecting Dubai’s dynamic urban spirit with integrated open spaces. This development supports the broader goal of boosting the role of sports in Dubai and the UAE, aligning with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 to position the city as a regional and global sporting hub.
The second is Shabab Al-Ahli Stadium in Al Ruwayyah 3, also designed for over 20,000 spectators. The design features a distinctive circular roof supported by columns, symbolizing the moon and outer space, embodying unity and balance. Eco-friendly systems and smart city standards are integrated into the stadium’s infrastructure, reinforcing Dubai’s vision of becoming a global leader in sports, in line with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.
