Ennismore introduced the Mondrian Riyadh Al Malga Hotel and Residences within the Al Malga Urban Village, slated for inauguration in 2026. Presently, the bid submission process is underway, with a closing date set for May 12, 2024. The establishment will boast 200 accommodations, comprising 130 rooms and suites, along with 25 one-bedroom, 35 two-bedroom, and 10 three-bedroom serviced apartments. In-house dining options will include three restaurants and lounges curated by Ennismore’s Carte Blanched, alongside designated event and wellness facilities, reflecting Mondrian’s commitment to innovative programming.
Renowned interior architect Tristan Di Plessis will breathe life into Mondrian Riyadh Al Malga, aligning with the development’s LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification objectives, emphasizing energy efficiency, water conservation, carbon footprint reduction, and enhanced indoor air quality.
Positioned in the northern precinct of Riyadh, the bustling capital and financial epicenter of Saudi Arabia, the Al Malga district sits adjacent to the recently announced Mukaab skyscraper, a 400-meter-high architectural marvel marking the gateway to Murabba Downtown. This vibrant locale is poised to become a hub for tourism and cultural endeavors, offering a plethora of entertainment, dining, and retail opportunities.
Mondrian’s ambitious global expansion strategy encompasses a robust pipeline of 17 hotels and branded residences, including forthcoming ventures in Singapore, Hong Kong, Bordeaux, Ibiza, Cannes, Dubai, Gold Coast Australia, and Abu Dhabi, augmenting its existing portfolio of seven operational establishments, spanning Doha, London, Los Angeles, and Mexico City.
