The tender for the main construction contract for Oxagon Village Residential Buildings Phase 1 – NEOM Industrial City has recently been released, with the RFP submission deadline set for September 19, 2024. This marks a significant milestone in the development, as companies prepare their bids for this substantial undertaking. The contract award will kickstart the initial phase, focusing on the construction of 2,049 apartments across three precincts, along with the necessary infrastructure.
Phase 1 of this ambitious development will not only include residential buildings but also the establishment of a Public Safety Response Asset to ensure the safety and well-being of the residents. Designed to house approximately 5,184 inhabitants, this phase is a crucial part of a larger plan. The entire complex, upon completion, will feature 71 buildings and approximately 8,583 apartments, ultimately accommodating around 17,000 residents.
Spanning four phases, the comprehensive plan aims to create a self-sustaining community with modern amenities and facilities. Each phase builds on the previous one, gradually transforming the area into a vibrant, livable space. The integration of infrastructure with residential units ensures that all essential services are available to the inhabitants, fostering a sense of community and security.
This development is designed with environmental sustainability in mind. By incorporating green building practices and energy-efficient systems, it aims to reduce the carbon footprint and promote eco-friendly living. The use of sustainable materials and technologies will help conserve resources and minimize environmental impact, contributing positively to the overall well-being of the community and the planet.
