NGE and TSO Catenaires have been awarded the contract for the Casablanca Oasis district to Nouaceur line by the Office National des Chemins de Fer (ONCF). This section is part of Morocco’s high-speed rail network, connecting Marrakech to Kenitra. Scheduled for completion by April 2028, the line aims to enhance regional connectivity and supports Morocco’s broader vision of modernizing its transportation infrastructure. The consortium’s expertise will play a key role in delivering this critical link.
The line will feature five strategically located stations designed to integrate seamlessly with the future high-speed rail network. These include Casa Sud Station, Sidi Maarouf Station, and Bouskoura Station, which will connect to the high-speed rail network. Additionally, New Nouaceur Station and Mohammed V International Airport Station will provide critical interconnections for air and rail travelers. These stations highlight the importance of accessibility and the integration of transportation modes in Morocco’s rail development.
This line marks a transformative step in Morocco’s transportation landscape by significantly reducing travel times and fostering economic growth. With stations serving as vital intermodal hubs, the development supports sustainability goals and positions Morocco as a leader in high-speed rail across Africa. Enhanced connectivity between urban centers and transportation hubs underscores the country’s commitment to modern, efficient, and sustainable mobility solutions.
