Postponement: Next REAS from 8 to 10 October 2021

Due to the ongoing uncertain situation around the Covid-19 pandemic, the 20th edition of REAS powered by INTERSCHUTZ has to be postponed by one year. The trade fair for rescue, fire fighting, disaster relief and security in Montichiari, Italy, will not be held in October 2020 as planned, but one year later: from 8 to 10 October 2021.

The decision to postpone was necessary for two reasons. Firstly, the effects of the coronavirus pandemic made it impossible to organise the event as usual. Secondly, the participants of REAS are exactly those experts, professionals and volunteers from the emergency sector who are needed in other places in the current pandemic situation. The organizers of the trade fair – Centro Fiera Montichiari and INTERSCHUTZ host Deutsche Messe AG – are now planning to offer interactive conferences and training sessions using webinar and smart fair formats as an alternative on October 2, 3 and 4, 2020. In addition, the focus is now fully on preparations for the 20th REAS at the Montichiari Exhibition Center from 8 to 10 October 2021, which will then make a concrete contribution to the new start after the crisis.

The event covers the entire array of state-of-the-art gear and services needed for firefighting, fire protection, rescue work, civil protection, telecommunications and control centres as well as personal protection. The next INTERSCHUTZ is dedicated to the lead theme “Teams, Tactics, Technology – Connecting Protection and Rescue”.
