High Rise Firefighting Conference Early Bird Discount will end at the end of January

19 th May 2020 will see the Tall Building/High Rise Conference come to London alongside FIREX at the Excel exhibition centre. The conference will be chaired by Roy Wilsher of the UK National Fire Chiefs Council. The final programme features two other members of the NFCC, Chief Fire Officers Mark Hardingham (Suffolk) and Chris Lowther (Tyne and Wear) and Chair of NFCC Operations Committee. From Germany, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Michael Reick is a regional fire chief in Göppingen, Germany. Michael will detail smoke control techniques in high rise firefighting operations.

Conference Director Russ Timpson of the Tall Building Fire Safety Network commented ‘This is a very timely meeting of Firefighters from across the UK, Europe and Internationally. The procedures for fighting fires in high rise buildings must be reviewed and improved’. The conference will be the largest gathering of firefighters working on High Rise Firefighting in recent years. There will be time during the conference for open question and answer sessions.
