In April the City of Aalborg and World Firefighters Games Western Australia Inc., organizers of World Firefighters Games 2020, decided to postpone World Firefighters Games 2020 to next year from Sunday, May 16 – Saturday, May 22, 2021.
Even though World Firefighters Games 2020 will now take place in 2021, we will still refer to the event as World Firefighters Games 2020.
The countdown has started
Due to the postponement, the countdown to the 14th edition of World Firefighters Games has therefore started over again, and there is now just one year to we all will meet in Aalborg for some great days with sports and social activities.
After the postponement, we are continuing the planning of the games, and we are continually updating the website: www.wfg2020.dk/en/ with the newly confirmed dates for the sports.
54 nations are already represented
Many have already signed up for World Firefighters Games 2020 in Aalborg and can start looking forward to some great days with lots of activities and a great atmosphere.
The registered participants represent 54 different nations. We are very excited by all the registration we get, and even more excited that we can welcome so many different nations to World Firefighters Games in Aalborg.
