LEADER GROUP turns 40 as a multi-expertise powerhouse serving fire and rescue services worldwide
When the alarm sounds, there is no time to wonder whether the equipment will hold. Firefighters and rescuers trust their lives to it, and for 40 years, LEADER GROUP has built its business on earning that trust.
Founded in 1986, the company has grown from a specialist manufacturer into a global group of around ten complementary subsidiaries, with more than 400 employees, operations across Europe, North America, Asia and Oceania, and customers in more than 130 countries.
Ten companies. Dozens of expertises. One shared purpose.
Each LEADER GROUP company brings its own speciality: foam concentrates, portable pumps, hoses and couplings, nozzles and monitors, ventilation, thermal imaging, victim search, training equipment, diphasic system. What makes the Group different is how these expertises fit together. Products are designed to work side by side, on the same operation, in the hands of the same crews.

This is the strength of a multi-expertise group: a fire department can equip itself from the pump to the nozzle, from the hose to the foam, from firefighting to search and rescue, with one partner that understands the whole operational chain.
Growing at full speed
Since 2021, LEADER GROUP has doubled its revenue, driven by sustained organic growth and bold acquisitions: ZELUP in France, C.E.T. Fire Pumps in Canada and, in June 2026, MERCEDES TEXTILES, the Canada-based hose and portable pump
specialist whose products are exported to more than 50 countries. Each move has strengthened the Group’s industrial base, widened its range and brought it closer to its customers, particularly in North America, where wildfires and extreme weather push fire services to their limits.

Built for the field. Backed by the world’s firefighters.
Municipal fire services, civil protection, armed forces, high-risk industries, navies, NGOs: the people who rely on LEADER GROUP equipment protect communities on every continent. Behind them stand brands that fire professionals know and trust,
including LEADER, BIOEX, TEMPEST, ZELUP, C.E.T. Fire Pumps, and MERCEDES TEXTILES.
The next 40 years
LEADER GROUP does not look back to celebrate. It looks back to measure the road ahead: more innovation, more international reach, and an even more complete offer for those who run toward danger when everyone else runs away.
