Perimeter Solutions Fire Retardant Protects Circuit de Monaco

Fire Safety Global Market Leader’s FIRE-TROL® Retardant Used as Preventative Pre-treatment on Exposed Vegetation during famed Motorsport Race

Monaco’s municipality department in charge of parks, gardens and related maintenance is applying the fire retardant as a preventative pre-treatment during the period of the Grand Prix race to protect the urban vegetation environment, including pine trees, that surround the Circuit de Monaco racecourse.

Perimeter Solutions’ PHOS-CHEK® and FIRE-TROL brand long-term retardants have been successfully used around the world for decades to prevent wildland fires and to mitigate risks of ignition. Applied preventatively, long-term retardant can be effective in preventing fires from igniting for months.

Since 2007 FIRE-TROL FT934 fire retardant has been applied ahead of race day. FT934 is an uncolored long-term fire retardant liquid concentrate formulated for ground application and is ideal for use along railways, motorways and developed urban areas to prevent ignition and spread of wildland fires. FIRE-TROL TF934 is mixed with water at a specific admix ratio for use and is applied using common garden or agricultural sprayers
