New branch office in the UAE for Fire & Gas Detection (FGD) Technologies

Fire & Gas Detection (FGD) Technologies is pleased to announce the opening of a Branch office in United Arab Emirates. Based at the Abi Dhabi Airport Free Zone, FGD’s Middle East Branch office will be the hub for all activities in the GCC for Customer Service, Logistics, Technical Support and Sales in the coming year.

Over the last 5 years FGD has been building a distribution network across the GCC region and significant customer wins. With Production based in Anaheim, California serving a region with a 12-hour time difference has its challenges so setting up a regional hub was a natural next step to serve such an important region.

Customers across the middle east will have access to Customer Service by phone, chat and email in their time zone. Up to date information on orders, shipments and deliver will be just a short call away. For those requiring pre-sales or post-sales Technical support, our local technician will be available on demand. The same support will further enhance the capabilities of our local distribution network. Even though FGD offers exceptionally fast delivery. 2 weeks for up to 20 units, plans to hold stock in the Freezone will further improve supplies to local partners and customer alike.

Iain Evans has been selected as the FGD ME Branch Manager and will be based in Abu Dhabi from December 2024. Mr Evans has 20+ years’ experience in the Fire & Gas Detection industry having previously worked for Honeywell in many roles including Customer Service Management, Sales Management and Project Sales. “ I have never been as confident in a product as I am with the FGD range of flame detection.
