Representatives from ISOLATEK INTERNATIONAL, the global leader in passive fireproofing technology, were present on October 6, 2015 for the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at the Company’s newest licensed manufacturer and distributor’s facility in the United Arab Emirates.
GREENTECH THERMAL INSULATION PRODUCTS MANUFACTURING CO. (GREENTECH) located in Um Al Quwain, United Arab Emirates, UAE, owns and operates a 322,800 square foot facility with state-of-the art multi stage powder blending technology equipment which manufactures ISOLATEK® Type 400, ISOLATEK ® Type 300, and ISOLATEK® Type M II spray-applied fireproofing. These products have been extensively tested, classified by UL in accordance with UL 263 (ASTM E119), and rated for up to 4 hours for the protection of structural steel components and assemblies used in the construction and/or petrochemical markets. Poised for expansion, GREENTECH expects to add additional lines to produce complementary system components along with other spray applied fireproofing products in the near future.
The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony included Mr. Eric Haaijer, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Mr. John Danko, Senior Vice President Technology & International from ISOLATEK INTERNATIONAL. Present from GREENTECH were Mr. M. Al Melaihi, Chairman, Mr. Jay Paul and Mr. T.R. Kuni, Managing Directors, and the entire team behind the successful opening of the factory.
