Under the Patronage of the Dubai Municipality and the Dubai Central Laboratory (DCL), the 4th Annual Quality Assurance for Sustainable Construction Materials Conference & Workshop will be held on 14th and 15th December, 2016 at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel, Dubai.
The focus of the conference is on the role of quality building materials in achieving higher standards for sustainability and safety in buildings and infrastructure.
The conference features technical lectures by presenters from the Middle East, Europe and the US and will see international industry experts from the GCC, USA, Asia and Europe.
The two-day event will highlight the international and regional approach to testing and quality controls, as well as the importance of specifications/standards. It serves as a platform for sharing experiences between the public and private sector.
Day 1 (Conference)
- Session I – The Role of Research Institutes and Laboratories in Improving Quality Control;
- Session II – Fire Performance of Cladding and Thermal Insulation Products;
- Session III – On-site Applications and Inspections of Sustainable Construction Materials.
Day 2 (Workshop)
is reserved for a full day Expert Workshop, jointly held by DCL and ASTM International and entirely dedicated to Cement and Concrete Testing (ASTM Technical Training and E-Learning Certificates provided).
