MDM Publishing Ltd Editorial Advisory Board appoints Raman Chagger BSc (Hons) MSc CEng FIET
Raman Chagger has been appointed to the Editorial Advisory Board of MDM Publishing Ltd where he will assist the board and directors of MDM Publishing in attaining the very best editorial content across its stable of leading fire industry journals.
Raman is an Applied Research Scientist and Engineer at BRE Global who is passionate about collaborating with industry to perform innovative research work and engineer solutions to help build a better world.
His activities are in the general field of fire safety and he is a specialist in fire detection and fire warning. Raman has managed research projects and performed consultancy work to create new knowledge and then implement the findings to generate real impacts. His outputs include producing publications, developing test methodologies and training material, writing codes and standards as well as engaging in awareness-raising activities.
When required Raman can also develop associated product testing and certification service capabilities at BRE Global.
With a Master’s degree in physics (by research) from the University of Bristol Raman has worked in the field of fire safety for over 20 years.
