A warehouse fire in the Ras Al Khor industrial area of Dubai on Saturday 18 June was brought under control in ‘record time’by Firefighters Dubai Civil Defence stated officials.
The fire which caused extensive damage to the building was reported at 1310 hours local time with first crews arriving within minutes.
Following the rapid intervention of Firefighting teams the fire was under control 1424 hours.
Dubai Civil Defense stated that the effective response from rescue teams is a result of the continuous training that they undertake.
Within the complex, there were eight warehouses in total, as a result of the Firefighting actions only two other warehouses sustained minor damage.
A safe evacuation ensured there were no injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
