Positional tower information is displayed graphically on the 4.3in LCD screen. Flexibility is built-in with easy-to-change settings and real-time feedback. You can control every function of the light tower from this simple-to-use controller. Pan and tilt the lights 360° to illuminate the exact area desired. Raise and lower the tower automatically to save time or use the keypad to deploy to the exact height to get perfect light coverage on the ground. This is all driven by a system that can be integrated with your vehicle’s CAN-Bus system.
Maximum control of illumination can be achieved by adding Atherion IQ LED lights to the Night Scan IQ light tower. The resulting ‘IQ Light Tower System’ gives you 100% control of your scene illumination. Not only do you have full control of the light tower, now you also have total control of the light output of the 30,000-lumen LED lamps.
Atherion IQ has a combination of powerful spot and flood LEDs that you control from the LCD screen of Night Scan IQ. Variable illumination control allows you to shift from spot to floodlight or any combination in between. An example of how the variable illumination feature would be used follows: Night Scan Powerlite Dual Tilt action allows you to control two banks of lights independently. The staging area can be washed with floodlighting by one bank of lights, delivering wide and consistent coverage. The second bank of lights can be directed at the work area such as a car accident where the Atherion IQ lights can be dialled to spotlight mode, providing pinpoint illumination allowing your team to perform the most demanding tasks.
Alert oncoming traffic to your presence by setting one or both banks of light to flash mode – you control the speed of the flashing.
There are some situations where too much light is on the scene – this is no problem for the IQ system – you can dim the lights to the proper level for the situation at hand.
