Our fire science team are at the forefront of developments, with a global reputation as major providers of degree programmes and CPD for fire brigades and professionals worldwide. We are a well-established leading institution for training, education and research in the area of forensic science and policing, with research output influencing the national policing agenda and policy. The University of Central Lancashire have recently launched a new range of emergency management short courses, consultancy services, and Higher Education courses. The UCLan PROTECT courses and services are built on a holistic approach to emergency preparedness and emergency response, and combine practitioner expertise with academic excellence.
The training provided ranges from one-day courses delivered at venues close to the client organisation, to three-year degree programmes, which can be accessed on a full-time or part-basis.
