The Solberg Company, the world’s foremost innovator of firefighting foam concentrates and systems hardware announced today the appointment of Narthreza Putri Guttormsen as Business Development Manager, Asia.
Ms. Guttormsen joins Solberg from Talasco Marine Sdn. Bhd. (Malaysia) where in 2009 she co-founded the business. Talasco Marine caters to the growing oil and gas industry by providing offshore vessels and subsea services throughout South East Asia. Narthreza possesses a deep knowledge of the petroleum, oil and gas industry in the region and has an extensive network of oil major customers, charterers and asset owners.
In her new role, Ms. Guttormsen will be responsible for business/channel development and sales of Solberg foam concentrates and systems hardware in Southeast Asia in addition to China, Japan and Korea. Narthreza is based in Singapore.
Narthreza is a graduate of Upper Iowa University (U.S.) where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management.
Solberg, the firefighting foam products division of Amerex Corporation is based in Green Bay, Wisconsin with operations in Bergen, Norway and Sydney, Australia. The company has been involved with the manufacture of firefighting foams since the mid-1970s.
