Simon-Carmichael International Group (SIG) manufactures a comprehensive range of world class fire fighting vehicles under the SIMON and CARMICHAEL UK brand names, serving all sectors of the fire fighting industry including aviation, industrial, municipal, petrochemical and defence. With facilities in Europe and Asia our aim is to offer a better choice of Euro-design, high performance, affordable fire fighting vehicles to Fire Fighting Authorities throughout Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America and Europe.

SIG fire fighting vehicles can be mounted on a wide range of international chassis, including, Mercedes Benz, MAN, Scania, Volvo, Isuzu, Hino and Mitsubishi etc. to suit all our customers’ operational and budgetary requirements. With a production capacity of up to 500 units annually, SIG is well placed to meet the all the needs of its customers in the region.

SIG’s production plant has been awarded ISO9001 and ISO14001 certification. Our modern Euro-design factory is fully equipped with high-tech manufacturing equipment, such as laser cutting machine, 3600 Rotary Welding, Constant Temperature Paint Booths etc. which promotes superior quality superstructures and components for our fire fighting vehicles. Production takes place on synchronized assembly lines following the highest industrial standards providing efficient manufacturing and the shortest possible delivery time.

CARMICHAEL superstructures are modular in design, with anti-corrosion materials and special bonding (no welding) light-weight technology. The superstructures are mounted on special Euro-design spring-rubber elastic supported sub-frame to reduce the transfer of vibrations, torsion and the level of noise emissions. We specialise in building high quality aluminium and high strength stainless steel tanks, which are probably the best in Asia. Polypropylene tanks are also available as part of our range.

All CARMICHAEL vehicles are fully inspected and tested which includes all pumping operations and functions at our pump station, side slope stability on our tilt bed, axle loads on our weigh bridge etc.
