Trident Emergency Products is the manufacturer of the GP-Series high-performance foam pumps and companion foam system components. We have foam pumps and systems for both mobile fire apparatus and fixed facility installations. Trident offers delivery on foam pumps in less than seven days from our in-stock inventory for both new installations and replacement foam pumps.
Our GP-Series foam pumps are constructed from bronze and stainless steel, include a run-dry feature and have separate timing gears. They are oil lubricated (no grease fittings), have mechanical seals (no lip seals), and utilize four life-time sealed bearings. Foam pumps are available from 115 lpm to 1,890 lpm ranging up to a 20 bar pressure rating. UL listed foam pumps are available in 115 to 750 lpm ratings with relief valves included. The GP500 foam pump is perfect for foam tanker and foam transfer installations. PTO, electric, hydraulic and engine-driven motor mounts are available.
Foam pump skid units are available with either electric motor or diesel engine drives in various combinations with optional electronic controllers. These units are engineered for each customer’s needs and performance requirements.
We now have the GP-Series foam pumps and foam equipment combined into our new Balanced Pressure Platforms for mobile applications called Foamate-BP. The Foamate-BP Product is manually operated for simplicity and reliability. There are no electronics, computers or wiring to maintain or install. UL listed foam pumps and remote-controlled valves are available as options. The system includes a manually operated bypass valve for backup operation. This can be designed to utilize any fire pump in the world using PTO or split-shaft drives. Various customized configurations are available in less than 30 days.
Available components include ratio controllers, balancing valves, heat exchangers and Victaulic clamps. All items are equipped with Victaulic connections for ease of installation. Duplex gauges are also available.
Ratio controllers are available in 50mm (750 lpm flow), 65mm (1,200 lpm flow), 75mm (2,350 lpm flow), 100mm (1,600 lpm flow) and 150mm (13,000 lpm flow). The products are available as either single-point or multi-point systems.
In addition, Trident offers three Around-The-Pump (ATP) foam proportioning systems: Class A Foamate 1.0 up to 1500 lpm; our new Foamate 1.5 (for under 4,000 lpm) is available in Class A or Class B or as a combination of Class A + B foams; and our Foamate 2.1 is available for Class B foam flows up to 8,000 lpm (1% and 3%) or 4,000 lpm (6%). These devices are constructed from brass and stainless steel for reliability and longevity. They are also available with gpm calibrations.
All Trident products carry a full five-year warranty to the original purchaser.
Trident Sales and Engineering will assist truck builders and fixed system installers with design, engineering, training and testing.
