WEBER RESCUE SYSTEMS showcases its new battery-powered rescue rams for the first time at INTERSCHUTZ 2026
With the new RZ ALU and RZT ALU rescue ram series, WEBER RESCUE SYSTEMS presents the lightest and most powerful battery-powered rescue rams for technical assistance at INTERSCHUTZ 2026. The new generation combines maximum performance with reduced weight, high precision, and innovative safety features for demanding rescue operations.
Thanks to the new LIGHTWEIGHT aluminum construction, the weight of the rescue rams has been reduced by up to 15% and 4 kg compared to steel versions. At the same time, rigidity, load-bearing capacity, and compressive force remain at the highest levels. The compact design further facilitates handling and noticeably reduces the physical strain on emergency personnel, especially during long or complex operations.
To prevent slippage, the new rescue rams set new standards. The rotatable and interchangeable pressure heads feature innovative carbide spikes. This optimized force transmission ensures a secure grip on a wide variety of surfaces and prevents slippage when attaching the ram to the vehicle. Relevant performance parameters such as pressure forces and extension lengths are directly readable on the device, allowing for maximum control during operation. With significantly increased performance, the new rescue rams are ideally suited for modern and increasingly rigid vehicle structures.
In addition to these functions, the new single and telescopic ALU rescue rams offer numerous other advantages for everyday use. These include, among other things, large end lengths despite a compact design, additional application options for controlled pulling and complete integration into the digital operating system SMART FORCE OS. This is complemented by the perfect coordination with the spreaders for a seamless rescue system. Even under cramped conditions and with modern vehicle structures, fast, controlled and safe work is possible.
