Fike Corporation, a global manufacturer and supplier of fire protection systems, has announced the launch of its latest fire suppression solution, Fike Fire Monitors.
These automatic water cannons offer precise suppression for difficult-to-reach fires, often within just 15 seconds of detection. They are frequently combined with Fike flame detectors with HD cameras or thermal imaging cameras to create a reliable, water-based fire suppression solution, which is often ideal for environments when total flood suppression either isn’t possible or isn’t preferred.
Upon detection of a fire, Fike Fire Monitors may be programmed to discharge up to 1,320 gallon of water per minute up to 87 yards away in certain zones and in a predetermined spray pattern, or a human operator may also view live video and control the unit remotely anywhere in the world with a joystick, app or computer.

Fire monitors which are installed using wall mounts offer up to 180 degrees of coverage, while ceiling mounts can reach hazards in a full 360-degree area.
Common applications for Fike Fire Monitors include in environments where fire hazards may occur under piles of trash, wood chips or scrap metal, on the tops of racks in a warehouse, on rooftops where solar panels are installed, and much more.
“We’ve seen a big demand in the industry for this product to be offered by Fike because of our focus on product quality, unmatched technical support and accessible customer service,” said Joe Donato, Fike Product Manager, Water Suppression. “We are excited to meet the demand of the customers who have been waiting for Fike to offer its own version of this exciting technology.”
