Dr. Ahmed Allam is currently the Director of Fire Safety Engineering for International Projects at the International Fire Consultants Group (IFC) and is an external examiner and industrial supervisor for many research projects. He is visiting Professor at different educational organisations, and the author of many publications having developed a number of highly non-linear building computer codes to simulate the behaviour of structures in fire as part of a holistic and integrated fire safety strategy. Dr.Ahmed has contributed to a wide range of mega and prestigious developments worldwide, including the Crossrail Interchange in London, Al Raha Beach Development in Abu Dhabi, the breath-taking MTB at Abu Dhabi International Airport, Beetham Hilton Tower in Manchester, Barclays Bank in Canary Wharf, London, and Qatar’s Education City in Doha.
