Today (7th April 2020), the International Water Mist Association (IWMA), announced that IWMC 2020 will be postponed due to the COVID-19 situation. The IWMA board of directors felt compelled to take these measures as the point in time when we can all resume normality is not in sight.
“It is not only a matter of IWMA deciding whether to hold the conference or not. It is also a matter of whether events of that size will again be allowed before the end of the year“, explains IWMA general manager Bettina McDowell.
The venue and the date are currently being re-evaluated. Details of where and when the 20th International Water Mist Conference will take place will be announced as soon as possible.
“We hope that we can hold the conference sometime in or around October 2021”, says Bettina McDowell.
The water mist conference is an annual event and the only event solely dedicated to the water mist technology.
